Sales and Ops Manager needed in Tokyo, Japan!

We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious and passionate Sales and Operation Manager to join our Team in Tokyo, JP!

What’s Oppizi

Oppizi is the first major multi-channel player in offline performance marketing. We’ve built a technology that enables tracking, scaling and optimization of flyering campaigns. We offer 3 channels, Hand-to-hand (in people’s hand), Door-to-Door (in people’s mailbox or on their cars), Direct Mail (in people’s mailbox via national post service). We operate in 10 countries, the main ones being Australia, New Zealand, France, UK, US, and Canada. We are very privileged to work with flagship accounts like Uber, UberEats, DoorDash, Getaround, DiDi, Deliveroo and many others. 

Duties of Sales and Operation Manager 

- Launch, liaise and coordinate Direct Mail campaigns on behalf of our clients. Prepare and present client reports, campaign optimization and KPI’s;
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service;
- Organize logistics between the Printer suppliers and Japan Post, if needed.
- Report directly to the CEO and work closely with high level management to determine values and mission, budget reviews, client reports and cost plans;
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
- Manage and plan customer support
- Support and assist technology development.

- Build a database of prospects
- Maintain and build Business with existing customers
- Prospect (cold call and email) for new business all over Japan
- Quote Customers/Prospects
- Prepare and present Call Reports
- Attend Sales Meetings
- Develop and expand product knowledge and sales skills


- 2/3y experience in Sales
- 1/2y experience in operations
- Prior experience in start-up/ scale-up, ideally with a Sales/logistics/ operational focus
- An good understanding of sales, growth, sales or account management
- Communication: Excellent writing and oral skills. Fluent English is required
- Excellent knowledge of Excel/google spreadsheets is required
- Good knowledge of Hubspot
- Outstanding client relationship
- Dynamic, Dedicated, Self-motivated, Proactive, Very organized and results-oriented.
- Recognised experience managing large client assignments within a multiple stakeholder environment, particularly within an agency setting.
