We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious and passionate Operations Manager to join our Ops Team in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The role will be to manage Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht. Additional cities might come up at a later stage.

Oppizi is the first major multi-channel player in offline performance-marketing. We’ve built a technology that enables tracking, scaling and optimization of flyering campaigns. We offer 3 channels, Hand-to-hand (in people’s hands), Door-to-Door (in people’s mailboxes), and Direct Mail (in people’s mailboxes via national post service). We operate in 10+ countries, the main ones being Australia, New Zealand, France, the UK, the US, and Canada. We are very privileged to work with flagship accounts like UberEats, DoorDash, Getaround, DiDi, Deliveroo, and many others. 

Job description

The ideal candidate is dynamic and will be involved in various aspects of the business while being responsible for creating and executing our offline marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and support our Brand Ambassadors in Rotterdam within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support.
  • Liaise and coordinate campaigns with the Ops team and the General Manager BENE.
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, and hit our customers’ targets.
  • Organize logistics in Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht. Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget. Prepare and control inventory.
  • Ensure recruitment resources, conduct interviews, and oversee Brand Ambassadors levels in each of the cities.
  • Support and assist technology development.
  • Report directly to the Ops Manager Belgium to determine values and missions.

Must-have Requirements 

  • Good writing and oral skills. Fluent both in English and Dutch 
  • Good knowledge of Excel/Google Spreadsheet
  • University degree in Business or similar field
  • At least 1 year of work experience in Operations or Management

  • Car needed to navigate between cities easily
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/experience with a strong growth mindset
  • Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • An active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows
  • Experience managing a team of contractors or employees on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in event & project management is highly regarded
  • Driving license and car is a plus
